Montrel successfully passes the follow-up audits of its ISO management systems

Montrel has received at its headquarters in Seville the visit of the auditors from SGS ICS Ibérica, a certification body accredited by ENAC, to carry out the follow-up audits corresponding to its ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications. These international standards endorse, respectively, the company’s quality management, environmental management, and occupational health and safety management systems.

The audits took place over several days and aimed to verify that Montrel maintains compliance with the requirements established in the aforementioned standards, as well as the correct implementation and effectiveness of its integrated management system. This type of follow-up audit forms part of the usual process after the initial certification is obtained and is generally carried out on an annual basis.

In this context, the auditors systematically evaluated different key processes of the organization, paying special attention to critical areas, to the evolution of possible non-conformities detected in previous audits, and to the corrective and improvement actions implemented since then. The system’s capacity to guarantee continuous improvement, one of the fundamental principles of ISO standards, was also analyzed.

With this new milestone, Montrel consolidates its positioning as an organization committed to international management standards and to a corporate culture.

Although these audits do not involve the issuance of new certificates, passing them is essential to validate the validity of the current ones. In Montrel’s case, the ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certifications remain valid at least until December 2026, which represents external backing of the solidity of its management systems and the consistency of its internal practices.

The positive evaluation by SGS ICS Ibérica confirms that the group continues aligning its activity with demanding criteria of quality, respect for the environment, and protection of the safety and health of its professionals. This approach is especially relevant in the field of engineering, where process reliability, responsible resource management, and occupational risk prevention are determining factors for project development.

“With this new milestone, Montrel consolidates its positioning as an organization committed to international management standards and to a corporate culture oriented toward continuous improvement, thus reinforcing the confidence of clients, collaborators, and other stakeholders in its present and future performance,” declares Francisco Pino, head of H&S, Quality and Environment at Montrel.
