A Montrel delegation took part in the Spanish-German Conference on Biomethane and Green Hydrogen, organized by the German-Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Madrid. The event brought together German companies specializing in renewable gases that are seeking to establish partnerships with Spanish firms to promote projects in this field.

The conference combined technical presentations, networking sessions, and B2B meetings, providing Montrel with an excellent opportunity to identify new collaboration prospects and build relationships with leading companies in biomethane, green hydrogen, and energy infrastructure technologies.

During the event, the Montrel delegation held meetings with companies including ATFO – Advanced Technology for Organics, e-flox GmbH, MAX STREICHER Anlagentechnik, VAKO GmbH & Co. KG, and HeGo Biotec International GmbH, all of which have extensive experience in developing solutions across the renewable gases value chain.

These companies operate in areas such as the manufacture of patented devices for measuring organic particles in gases to improve system stability; burners designed for the energy recovery of waste through the utilization of residual gas, with the potential for local hydrogen production; and pressurized storage systems, among other technologies aimed at optimizing the production, treatment, and transportation of renewable gases.

Participation in this forum enabled Montrel to gain first-hand insight into the capabilities of these companies and to explore potential avenues for collaboration on future projects. The connections established open the possibility for Montrel to participate as a technology partner in initiatives related to the development of infrastructure and solutions for the biomethane and green hydrogen sectors—an area that continues to gain momentum as part of Europe’s energy transition.
