CESUR iGrowlaber 2022: Meeting with Business Leaders

Introduction
The Association of Business Leaders of the South of Spain (CESUR) recently held the annual edition of its entrepreneurship program, iGrowlaber. This meeting promotes effort and teamwork for the development of projects linked to science, technology, and the economy. The event took place in the assembly hall of CEU San Pablo.

Borja Viu’s Keynote
In this 2022 edition, Montrel’s CEO, Borja Viu, shared his experience alongside Juan Iturri, President and CEO of Grupo Iturri, and Sofía Delclaux, CEO of Elecmove. During the “Meeting with Business Leaders” session, Borja emphasized attitude, training, teamwork, and international experience. He advised students: “If you have the opportunity to work in other countries, take it. International experience offers immense personal and professional growth.”

Leaving the Comfort Zone
Borja also highlighted the importance of stepping outside your comfort zone. He shared: “I remember going to Chile with Abengoa at 21 years old. What was supposed to be three months turned into six years. You should not fear leaving, undertaking, or making mistakes; it is essential to become a better professional. Experiences abroad broaden your perspective and provide invaluable insights when you return.”

Adapting to Challenges
He stressed that challenges are part of everyday life. For instance, the pandemic accelerated digitalization, requiring immediate adaptation. Borja’s message focused on the importance of embracing digital transformation, technology, and innovation.

Overcoming Failure
Borja concluded with a motivational message: “Do not fear failure; the important thing is to rise again and again. Behind every difficulty lies an opportunity.”
