Montrel develops and implements for Cepsa the GAVPlus System for Aviation Management in Airports

Montrel Advances R+D+i with GAVPlus

The Montrel Industrial Group continues to show its strong commitment to research, development, and innovation through the GAVPlus System. This project was created at the request of Cepsa, resulting from a long history of collaboration, particularly in Loading Systems and Product Delivery.

Objective of the Project

The aim of this collaboration between Cepsa and Montrel is to evolve and replace the old Aviation Management System. The new modular system uses cutting-edge architecture and technology. It is compatible with Cepsa’s Truck Loading Center Management System (G3C), which Montrel developed a few years ago and currently operates in over 90 facilities across Spain and Portugal.

Integrated Aviation Management

GAVPlus integrates aviation management, including fuel supply operations for aircraft (Intoplane), storage management, and stock control at airports and other dedicated infrastructures. Additionally, it captures real-time data from tank level measurement systems and controls truck loading and unloading.

The system also manages documentation and generates reports on airport operations. It provides activity and evolution graphs, exchanges information with TSA Aircraft Supply Terminals, Cepsa Systems, aircraft companies, product operators, and airport authorities such as AENA. Moreover, GAVPlus automates tax obligations with the AEAT for all supplies.

Standardized Coverage Across Facilities

GAVPlus standardizes airport activities and product warehouses in both the Iberian Peninsula and the Canary Islands. It covers facilities where Cepsa Aviación, CMD, and SIS are present, totaling fifteen sites, including airports, industrial facilities, and military bases.

GAVPlus: A Modern Aviation Management Tool

GAVPlus not only replaces the old system in certain aspects, but also transforms the conventional concept of application. It becomes a proactive tool that assists managers, alerts them to facility situations, assigns tasks, and eliminates low-value administrative work. Furthermore, it provides ad hoc reports to track activity evolution graphically and offers multiple analysis options. Its active control panel continuously highlights facility activity without requiring user intervention.

Safe, Flexible, and Web-Based

The GAVPlus system is developed in a secure and reliable web environment. It is adaptable to all devices and customizable for each airport facility, allowing operations to be adjusted according to specific activity requirements. The responsive interface avoids the need for installing additional software and ensures usability from any device.

Flight Data Integration

GAVPlus collects daily and monthly flight information from AENA. This ensures aircraft on the runway are properly supplied and provides a basis for planning necessary equipment and adjusting to incoming activity. Consequently, operational planning becomes more efficient.

ERP Integration and Automation

GAVPlus connects to the ERP Cepsa (SAP), exchanging registered information almost instantaneously. It gathers essential data for operations, such as supply authorizations, contracts, master data, credit cards, airlines, customers, and product prices. In addition, it automates the exchange of aircraft refuelling data and product movements with AEAT, streamlining reporting and administrative tasks.

Security and Role Management

Finally, GAVPlus is a secure system that uses Cepsa Network identification. Users are assigned specific roles within the application, ensuring the tool adapts to each person’s profile and facilitates efficient, tailored usage.

Among the additional benefits by the new GAVPlus System, a Control Panel stands out. It allows a quick and friendly display of the most important indicators in the operation, as well as alerts to take into account. In addition, different types of dynamic Evolution Charts of supplies made and product consumption are included.
