Montrel Reinforces Commitment to R&D+i

The Montrel Industrial Group continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to research, development, and innovation through the creation and implementation of the GAVPlus System. This project responds directly to Cepsa’s request and results from a long history of collaboration, especially in Loading Systems and Product Delivery.

Objective of the GAVPlus Project

The goal of this collaboration between Cepsa and Montrel is to evolve and replace the old Aviation Management System. The new modular system is built with cutting-edge architecture and technology. It is compatible with Cepsa’s Truck Loading Center Management System (G3C), previously developed by Montrel, and currently operating in over 90 facilities across Spain and Portugal.

Integrated Aviation Management

GAVPlus integrates aviation management operations, including fuel supply and provisioning to aircraft (Intoplane), storage management, and stock control at airports and other dedicated infrastructures. The system captures real-time data from tank level measurement systems and truck loading/unloading controls.

Moreover, it manages documentation and generates reports on airport operations, activity evolution graphs, and exchanges information with TSA Aircraft Supply Terminals, Cepsa Systems, aircraft companies, product operators, and airport authorities such as AENA. It also automates tax reporting to the AEAT for all supplies.

Comprehensive Fuel Management

Montrel’s system covers all aspects of loading liquid fuels, LPG, asphalts, petrochemicals, and lubricants. GAVPlus not only replaces older systems but transforms conventional operations. It anticipates managerial needs, alerts teams to facility events, assigns tasks automatically, and reduces administrative work of little added value.

Advanced Control and Reporting

The system provides ad hoc reports for graphical activity analysis. Its active control panel continuously highlights facility activity without requiring user intervention. This ensures managers can focus on critical decision-making rather than routine monitoring.

Safe, Flexible, and Web-Based

Developed in a secure web environment, GAVPlus is compatible with all devices and adaptable to each airport facility. Operations can be customized depending on specific facility requirements. The responsive interface allows use from any device, eliminating the need for additional installations.

Flight Data Integration

Finally, GAVPlus collects daily and monthly flight data from AENA to ensure proper aircraft supply and to plan necessary equipment based on incoming activity. This integration allows for seamless operational planning and resource optimization.

GAVPlus is connected to the ERP Cepsa (SAP), a system with which it exchanges registered information almost instantaneously and from where it collects data necessary for the activity such as supply authorizations, contracts, master data, credit cards, airlines, customers, product prices, etc.

GAVPlus exchanges with AEAT in an automated way the information of the aircraft refuellings that are carried out, as well as the incomes and movements of product by Facility. It has tools that facilitate these procedures eliminating administrative tasks.

GAVPlus is a secure system as it is using the identification of Cepsa Network, with users who are assigned to different roles within the application to adapt to their specific profile, thus facilitating the use of a tool “adapted” to each person.

Additional benefits, Dashboard and Alerts, as well as dynamic Evolution Charts

Among the additional benefits by the new GAVPlus System, a Control Panel stands out. It allows a quick and friendly display of the most important indicators in the operation, as well as alerts to take into account. In addition, different types of dynamic Evolution Charts of supplies made and product consumption are included.
