Terminal automation has been at the core of Montrel’s collaboration with Repsol for more than three decades across Spain and Latin America. Key projects include advanced automation, control, and loading systems that have improved efficiency and safety in multiple energy facilities.
OUR WORK
In Mexico, Montrel supplied and commissioned an automatic loading and additivation system for diesel and gasoline at Repsol’s Gutsa terminal in La Paz.
In Peru, at the La Pampilla refinery, Montrel developed a complete automation system for tanker truck loading, including engineering, equipment supply, commissioning, and system maintenance.
The system, based on SQL Server, handles automatic loading of liquid fuels, heavy products, and asphalts. It includes modules for data exchange, documentation, field communications, SCADA visualization, and PLC interlocks. A control cabinet with ET200M and Profibus integration enables decentralized motor control.
