Automation and Loading Systems for Repsol in Spain and Portugal
Refinery automation has been a key part of Montrel’s long-standing collaboration with Repsol, executing multiple strategic projects across Spain and Portugal. Notable works include advanced automation systems at the refineries in A Coruña, Puertollano, and Sines.
OUR WORK
Highlights include:
- A Coruña Refinery: automated fuel truck loading system with advanced process control for autonomous operation.
- Puertollano Refinery: EPC for biofuel unloading terminal (trucks and railcars) with full automation of unloading, blending, and additivation under ATEX standards, on Siemens PCS7.
Sines Refinery (Portugal): Pzsago project for diesel loading with inline FAME blending, including bottom loading arms, additive dosing units, and integrated process control.
