Montrel has supplied Red Eléctrica de España (REE) in Peru with a wide range of electrical equipment for the construction, expansion, and operation of its high-voltage substations. Through its subsidiaries Red Eléctrica Andina (REA), Red Eléctrica del Sur (REDESUR), and other transmission operators, REE manages transmission lines across the regions of Arequipa, Moquegua, Tacna, Puno, and Cusco. This collaboration reinforces Montrel REE Peru’s leadership in delivering reliable, high-quality electrical infrastructure.
OUR WORK
Deliveries included protection and control panels, auxiliary service panels (SS.AA.), circuit centralization boxes, and differential busbar protection panels.
These were supplied for projects such as the Chilota substation (REDESUR), the 220 kV Montalvo–Los Héroes transmission line (TESUR 3), and other contracts related to REE’s operations in Peru.
Through these projects, Montrel REE Peru continues to demonstrate its expertise in high-voltage electrical engineering and infrastructure solutions.
All equipment was manufactured by Montrel under the highest technical and safety standards, including IEEE-693:2005 seismic certification.
This guarantees continuity of operations even in high-risk seismic areas.
