Grupo Hafesa is one of the leading companies in the storage, marketing, and distribution of petroleum products. It operates several facilities in Spain, located in Motril (Andalusia), Ferrol (Galicia), Zierbena (Biscay), Musel (Asturias), and DBA Ocaña (Toledo).

As part of its expansion strategy, at the end of 2021, the company acquired the Ocaña facility in Toledo to consolidate its operations with its own infrastructure in the center of the Iberian Peninsula and to optimize its activities.
Hafesa invested €2.5 million to adapt the facility. It now features seven fuel tanks and two water tanks for the DCI system. This is the only inland terminal of the group, meaning fuels are transported exclusively by truck.

As part of this comprehensive remodeling, Montrel carried out engineering works, civil works, mechanical and electrical installations, instrumentation, and control.

Both this facility and the rest of Hafesa’s plants are equipped with Montrel’s control system. These facilities are classified as tax warehouses and are therefore subject to specific regulations.

Thanks to Montrel’s system, proper management of the product (delivery notes and certifications) and the corresponding taxes related to the nature of the goods is guaranteed.
