BP, one of the country’s leading energy companies, has been operating in Spain since 1954. It manages a network of more than 600 service stations and the Castellón refinery, which processes six million tons of crude oil per year. Within this context, Montrel developed two specific technological solutions: SIMAC-COKE and SIMAC-EESS, aimed at digitalizing and controlling the company’s logistics and operational processes.
OUR WORK
The SIMAC-COKE system, implemented at the Castellón refinery, provides comprehensive management of petroleum coke flow from storage areas to final customer delivery. It facilitates stock control, product traceability, and blending management, leveraging the accumulated knowledge of previous procedures and minimizing the users’ learning curve. The interface was designed in collaboration with the business unit, ensuring optimal usability.
Meanwhile, the SIMAC-EESS system supports fuel unloading operations at BP service stations in Spain and Portugal. Drivers can enter data before and after unloading via a mobile device connected to a web application. The system automatically generates trip and delivery documents in PDF format, with detailed load and unloading information by order.
