At Montrel, we manufacture Protection and Control (P&C) Cabinets for High Voltage (HV) lines. These systems protect and manage critical equipment, such as transformers and reactors. Furthermore, they ensure reliable operation in electrical substations.
Within our range of industrial electrical panels, P&C cabinets represent 90% of our production. As a result, they play a key role in our technological expertise. Each cabinet is custom-designed and built to meet the highest quality standards. Therefore, they comply with the demanding requirements of modern energy applications.
Our main client in this segment is Red Eléctrica de España (REE), the Spanish transmission system operator and sole authorised carrier of high-voltage energy in Spain. Thanks to the Framework Agreements we have maintained with REE for decades, we have supplied more than 100 P&C cabinets in recent years, consolidating a strong relationship of technical trust and long-term commitment.
Furthermore, our expertise and technology have been successfully exported to Peru. We have supplied P&C equipment worth over €6 million to Transmisora Eléctrica del Sur (TESUR), a subsidiary of REE. As a result, these projects strengthen our position as a leading international supplier of electrical solutions for transmission networks.
Since its operations began in 2010, Tesur has managed the transmission of electrical energy and the maintenance of high-voltage networks in southern Peru. It operates under the same demanding standards applied by REE in Spain. Therefore, it ensures reliability and consistency across all its systems.
